The following are the main stories making the front pages today.

Times of Malta leads with a warning that a proposed hotel on the Delimara coastline will have a “major negative impact” on the stability of the adjacent cliff and the rural character of the surrounding landscape, an environmental study has concluded.

The Malta Independent quotes Paul Vincenti, head of the Gift of Life Movement, who complained that people are more concerned about saving pigeons than embryos. The newspaper also quotes PN leadership hopeful Adrian Delila saying he had not agreed with the coalition with the Democratic Party. 

In-Nazzjon leads with a speech yesterday by Simon Busuttil, who urged supporters to continue what the party had started. It also gives prominence to the death of Pietru Pawl Busuttil.

l-orizzont gives prominence to the €58m allocated in funding for new social housing yesterday. Nearly 700 units will be built on 16 sites in Malta and Gozo
