Mcast has launched its Prospectus 2017-2018 for full-time courses starting in October 2017.

It also announced that Open Days will be held between this Friday and Tuesday, July 4 J at theStudents’ House, Mcast Main Campus, in Paola. 

The new Prospectus contains detailed information about Mcast's full-time courses at Foundation, Technical and University Colleges ranging from introductory certificate courses, degree programmes to Master’s programmes.

This year the College is offering 12new courses, three of which are being offered at the Gozo Campus.

The new courses include the Northumbria University Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Nursing Studies, the Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Environmental Health, the  Advanced Diploma in Graphic Design and Interactive Media, the  Advanced Diploma in Photography, the Advanced Diploma in Fashion and Retail, the Diploma in Foundation Studies for Security, Enforcement and Protection, the Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Sport, Exercise and Health, the Introductory Certificate in Engineering and the Diploma in Deck Operations.

The Diploma in Business, the MCAST Advanced Diploma in Health Sciences and theMCAST Higher Diploma in Facilitating Inclusive Education are being offered at the Gozo Campus.

Prospective students, particularly young individuals who have just completed secondary (Form 5) or post-secondary (Sixth Form) education, can collect their copy of the prospectus and the application form while visiting the Open Days.

After the Open Days, the Prospectus and the Application Form will also be available from the Main Campus in Paola, from the institutes in Mosta, Naxxar, Qormi and Kalkara, from the Gozo Campus in Ghajnsielem and from all local council offices.

The College will also be launching the Interactive Prospectus, a dynamic tool to help current and prospective students explore the College's full-time courses starting in October. The Interactive Prospectus is based on the 2017/18 MCAST Full-Time Courses Prospectus and also includes additional information about each course, as well as various interactive features. Prospective students will be able to go through the list of courses and compare their entry requirements, descriptions, units as well as the learning outcomes and career opportunities on offer. 

The opening hours of the open days are Friday 30 June, Monday 3 July and Tuesday 4 July between 4pm and 8pm. On Saturday 1 July, the Open Day will be open between 9am and 1pm.
