FALZON SCERRI. On June 24, at Mater Dei Hospital, MAGDALENA (Maudy), widow of Carmel, aged 89, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her sad loss her children Joseph, Dorothy and her husband Frank Galea, Henry and his wife Carmen, Norman and his wife Alexandra, Nathalie and her husband Carmel Bonello and Sandra and her husband Noel Zammit, her grandchildren Deborah and her husband Herman, Daniel and his wife Tiziana, Clint and his wife Daniela, Christian and his wife Lucienne, Nicola and Michael, Noeleen and Anthony, Fabian and his wife Laura and Nathan and Thea, her great-grandchildren, her sister Marcelle and her husband Donald Taylor, Rose and her in-laws, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 1.15pm for Our Lady of Mount Carmel parish church, Gżira, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

HAMER. On June 23, at Mater Dei Hospital, JAMES, aged 92, of Sliema, residing in St Julian’s, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Vanna née Agius, his sister Mary Schembri, his brother Edward of Australia, his wife’s sisters Helen Rye, Carmen and her husband David Cockman, Antoinette and her husband Victor Cassar and Frances Jackson, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 1.30pm for Our Lady of Mount Carmel parish church, Balluta where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2pm followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal Providenza, Siġġiewi will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest. The family wish to thank all the staff of Medical Ward 8 at Mater Dei Hospital.

Requiem Mass

The 6pm Mass said tomorrow Tuesday at the Ursuline Crèche chapel, Sliema, will be offered for the repose of the soul of MAY PANTALLERESCO. All relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
