Six Maltese football coaches have recently successfully completed the first UEFA Pro Coaching course organised by the Malta FA Technical Centre.

Mark Buttigieg, Raymond Farrugia, Josef Mansueto, Carmel Sciberras, Noel Turner and Steven Vella benefited from financial assistance under the government’s scholarship scheme during the intensive course which leads to the highest qualification in football coaching.

The MFA’s coach education department received positive feedback from UEFA Jira panel member Dany Ryser who oversaw the assessments in the final stages of the 450-hour course which was spread over 18 months.

The newly-qualified UEFA Pro coaches were presented with their certificates during an event organised by the Malta FA last month.
