The biggest agricultural event of the year – L-Imnarja – will be held at Buskett Gardens on Wednesday and Thursday.

Thousands of farmers and agricultural stakeholders would be impatiently waiting for this calendar show, which has evolved into a national agricultural event.

Farmers, animal breeders, animal lovers and gardeners will be exhibiting their products on both days. On Wednesday from 5.30pm, visitors may enjoy the agricultural products on display and competition stands. The best quality local horticultural products can be seen during these festive days. Visitors also have the opportunity to see various Maltese grown crops in the annual competition.

On Thursday, from early morning till noon, there will be the farm animals competition. At noon, prizes will be presented to the winners.

There will also be an entertaining programme and food kiosks. The woodland will be lit and special arrangements for parking have been arranged. Drivers can use the parking spaces near Clapham Junction on the back side of the gardens, as well as along the distributary streets leading to the core of the gardens.

The show is open to everyone. Participants can take part in the show or in the competition once booking takes place at the Rural Festivities Unit office at Għammieri, Luqa Road, Luqa.
