Students at Pietà primary are pictured planting a tree at Villa Frere Gardens near to their school to mark the completion of an HSBC-sponsored repair project, as members of the Friends of Villa Frere look on. The HSBC water programme Catch the Drop financed the repair of the water catchment and a historic reservoir at the iconic estate, whose manicured gardens once captured the imagination of such personalities as Queen Adelaide, Sir Walter Scott, Mikiel Anton Vassalli and others. The rehabilitation of the Villa Frere Gardens continues.
