The fourth edition of Steve Hili’s adult panto in summer comes to a close this weekend.
Little Red Riding Hood tells the story of penniless Little Red and her mother, an awfully randy dame, who magically inherit a cottage in the forest! However, evil property magnate BB Wolf, also has his eyes on the house.
From Acapulco to Panama via the Azure Window, the show will, among others, feature a genie-of-the-naughty-bits and a prime minister brought back from the dead.
The panto is written and directed by Hili and is produced by Michael Fenech, the brains behind the Bla Kondixin satirical show. The cast is made up of some of Malta’s top comic talent, including Joe Depasquale, Joseph Zammit, Larissa Bonaci, Taryn Mamo Cefai, Malcolm Galea as the out-of-control dame, and, of course, Hili.
This production contains strong language and is adequate for an adult audience.
Little Red Riding Hood is being staged at St James Cavalier theatre, Valletta, tonight, tomorrow and on Sunday at 8pm. For more information and tickets, visit www.kreattivita.org.
