Hibernians were drawn to face FCI Tallinn, of Estonia, in the first qualifying round of the Champions League.

The Paolites, who are making a return to the prestigious UEFA club competition after winning their 12th league title last May, will feel somewhat disappointed with the draw as they picked one of the strongest unseeded sides in yesterday's draw.

The first leg of the tie will be played on June 27/28 with the return leg scheduled for July 4/5.

The winner of the tie will be up against Austrian champions FC Salzburg in the second qualifying round.

In the Europea League, Valletta were handed a favourable draw as they will be up against San Marino's Folger of San Marino.

Floriana and Balzan were handed a far more difficult assignment from the draw in Nyon as the Greens will be up against Serbian giants Red Star Belgrade while the Reds were paired with Hungary's Videoton.

The ties will be played on June 29 and July 6.
