• Fr Marcello Ghirlando will celebrate Easter Sunday Mass at the Poor Clare community, Santa Dminka Street, near Manresa Retreat House, Victoria, at 9.30am.
• Mgr Renato Borg will celebrate Easter Sunday Mass for the Italian community in Gozo at Lourdes church, Mġarr, at 11am.
• Easter Sunday manifestations with the statue of the Risen Christ will be held at St George’s basilica, Victoria, at 8.45am, Nadur at 10am, Kerċem at 9.15am, Xewkija at 9.30am, the Cathedral, Victoria at 10.45am, Fontana and Qala at 11am, Żebbuġ at 5pm and Għarb and Xagħra at 6pm.
• Hip Hop Hurray for all the family will be held at the Villa Rundle Gardens in Victoria today from 10am to 4pm. There will be various activities for children, including Mr Bunny distributing chocolate eggs, party games, rides, bouncy castle, crafts, characters, dancing and storytelling. Entrance is free. However, any donations collected on the day will go towards Puttinu Cares.
• An art and antiques exhibition in aid of Arka Foundation will be held at 18, Republic Street, Victoria, near the Astra Theatre, today between 9.30am and 7pm.
• Ballerina will be screened at Don Bosco Oratory, Victoria, today at 5.30pm.
• Il-Fergha Ewkaristika (Għawdex) will be holding an hour of adoration at Our Lady of Pompeii church, Victoria, on Thursday from 9am to 10am. Rosary will be recited at 8.45am. Everyone is invited.
• Wirt Għawdex is holding a public lecture by Joe Sultana, entitled Filfla - Islet of History and Nature, at Santa Cecilia chapel on Friday at 6.30pm. For reservations, membership@wirtghawdex.org.
• Xagħra will be hosting the opening display of the16th edition of the Malta International Fireworks Festival on Saturday. It opens with a Pyro Musical Competition and continues with TemexSon – Pyro Events Team, Romania, at 9.30pm, Makalu Fireworks, Czech Republic, at 10pm and Kamra tan-Nar Madonna Tac- Cintura, Gudja, at 10.30pm.
