Around 60 students from the Gozo College Secondary School and from the Gozo College Middle School took part in the first edition of the Cittadella maths trail. The aim of this activity, planned by mathematics teachers at the Gozo College Secondary School, is for the students to put into practice the mathematics they learn in the classroom.

The students, divided in groups, had to work on a number of activities collaboratively. The activities were spread over various places around the Citadel such as the square, side streets, the bastions, the Archaeology Museum and at the Gran Castello Historic House.

The activity helped students to realise the importance of maths in  everyday life and to foster problem-solving skills and collaborative work.
