Q: If after buying a product from a particular seller I find that it’s being sold at a much lower price from another seller, do I have the right for a refund or credit note?

I am asking this because last week I bought a microwave oven for €119. After two days I found out that another local seller is selling the same modelat €99.

I complained about this with the shop from where I bought the microwave oven but they said that they cannot do anything. Is this correct?

A: As long as the microwave you purchased was clearly indicated with a price when you concluded your purchase, then the seller who sold you the microwave did not break any law for selling it at a higher price than his competitor.

Sellers operate in a free market economy which means that there is no control on how much products are sold or how much profit sellers can make when selling a product.
