Tact is launching its first music video to accompany All is True, one of the tracks from the album Brushworks. The music video shares the artist’s emotions in an embedded visual form, portraying the concepts of diversity, humanity and unpleasant beauty.

At the heart of the artistic visual production of All is True is Valletta, the upcoming European Capital of Culture for 2018. In a bid to rediscover the cultural hot spots with the capital, the main parts were shot at the enigmatic The Splendid, in Strait Street, at the Sala San Duminku (courtesy of the Kumpanija Teatrali Dumnikani Beltin), the Valletta Stars Bar and the rampant boathouses along the Valletta coastline.

The video was directed by Jonathan Laferla and produced by Sergio Tartaglia, together with the director of photography and video editor Francesco Debono.

Tact was formed in November 2009 by guitarist and composed Franco Tartaglia, releasing its first music album Brushworks in November 2015. The album is available on Spotify.

Tact’s music is inspired around the architecture and skill of guitar playing and composition. The classical guitar, in its simplicity as an instrument, is the foundation of the whole concept, opening up to the freedom of the other instruments sustaining and blending with the guitar, and thus portraying a strong lyrical and percussive feeling.

Tact is made up of Charles Cassar, Paul Torpiano and Carl Matthew Camilleri, all of whom contribute to Tact’s introspective music arrangement and songwriting. After the release of music single Euterpe with Claire Marante, Tact is currently working on new material with the same singer.

All Is True premiers at The Splendid on April 21 at 8pm and will feature an instrumental music performance by Tact, and a guest appearance of Claire Marante. The event is presented by Strada Stretta Concept.
