The following are the top stories in the Maltese newspapers today.

Times of Malta reports that the audit firm engaged by the government to
advise it on the value of the ITS land in St George’s Bay has been providing services to various companies associated with the Seabank Group and its owner, Silvio Debono, for a number of years.

It also reports that Melita is in talks to buy Vodafone Malta.

The Malta Independent says an investigation into tax official Ivan Portelli has not been completed yet. 

In-Nazzjon highlights reports of a frame-up against Parliamentary Secretary Justyne Caruana and a magistrate, implicating them in a police investigation in Gozo.

l-orizzont says the remains of ancient walls outside City Gate, found recently, formed the foundations of the Madaleine Lunette demolished by the British government.
