Clive Gerada and Roberta Schembri took the honours in the Lisa Maria Memorial Dingli 10 yesterday. Over 450  runners were at the starting line ahead of the traditional race at this time of the season, organised by St Patrick’s AC. Gerada was the first to cross the finish line when completing the distance in 58 minutes and 43 seconds. Mellieħa AC’s Stephen Borg was runner-up in 59.01 and Matthew Cutajar, of St Patrick’s, third in 59.10. Schembri upset Malta Marathon winner Josann Attard Pulis in the women’s 10-mile race. She clocked a time of one hour four minutes and 25 seconds while Pulis had to settle for second place in 1:06.49.
