Chiara Ferragni
Chiara’s name and brand continue to grow from strength to strength and judging from the number of people that turned out at her opening of her popup shop at Milan Fashion Week, her new AW 17 shoe collection should do very well indeed.
The strong point of her brand are all still present - namely the shoes are fun and colourful with her trademark winking eyes, lots of sparkling glitter and colourful phrases such as ‘love me’. There are new interesting add ons in the form of fur mules, a really beautiful pair of glitzy, embellished pumps that Chiara herself wore to the event - these actually have a much more grown-up feel to them than many of the other pieces.
There are also a few clothing, sporty pieces added to the collection that are very much in theme with the shoes.
Bulgari
At the Bulgari’s presentation, there was a lot of colour and a whole lot of fun happening - much in sync with all of Milan Fashion Week this season.
Stars, studs and metallic finishes are some of the key features in the new collection.. The theme feels Seventies-inspired.
There are new version of the Viper and Serpenti bags in different finishes including a really gorgeous quilted version that is absolutely stunning. There’s also the new Diva bag that’s small and worn with a long across-body strap. A stunning, glamarous collection for Divas with model-of-the-moment diva Bella Hadid fronting their campaign.
Furla
At Furla the star of the new collection was most definitely the new metropolis bag designed especially for their 90s anniversary.
Fabio Fusi, Furla’s creative director, presented a limited-edition line of nine versions of the iconic bags - five different base colors with nine removable flaps. Each of these flaps actually represents a different musical style - from punk to rock to pop. Besides the metropolis bag, a number of other standouts were present including some gorgeous new backpack designs.
