Pampers launched new and improved Baby-Dry nappies, which now include three absorbing channels designed to help keep babies wake up as dry in the morning as the night before, with less of saggy, wet overnight bulk.

The new nappy was unveiled during a breastfeeding seminar for midwives. Birmingham-based breastfeeding expert Debbie Carrick Sen gave a lecture on the subject, while alongside a sleep seminar by local sleep coach Daniela Sammut Mendez gave mummy bloggers and social influencers useful tips on how to get a good night’s sleep.

The channels’ revolutionary technology helps distribute wetness evenly. With the help of an inner layer of micropearls to absorb and lock away wetness better, these nappies will give babies up to 12 hours of dryness.

Ms Sammut Mendez said: “Babies spend around half of their time asleep and night-time can be a busy time. They wear the same nappy for up to 12 hours overnight that has to absorb up to two to three milk bottles. This increased wetness overnight means it’s even more important to keep the baby dry and comfortable to help prevent unnecessary sleep disruptions caused by a wet nappy.”
