Low-cost carrier Wizz Air is to start flying between Malta and Macedonian capital Skopje twice a week. 

The flights will begin on July 14 and will run all year round, the airline has announced. Presently, passengers wishing to travel between Malta and Skopje must catch a connecting flight from Vienna or Istanbul. 

Wizz Air is the largest airline operating in Macedonia.
