Active philanthropists have been invited to give their arms a solid workout and row indoors in aid of Dar tal-Providenza.
The fundraising event, which will take place on Monday 19 December between 9am and 4pm at Dar l-Istudent, will allow participants to have a go at indoor rowing for a suggested donation of €5 (for students) or €10 (for non-students).
Participants will also be given the chance to train with or compete against contenders such as Glenn Zammit, current LW Male National Champion, and Juan Carlos Farrugia, current Male National Record Holder for indoor rowing in Malta.
The event is a collaboration between the Malta Rowing Association, Degree+ and the Institute for Physical Education and Sport (IPES).
The event will also showcase races of 500m and others of a one-minute duration.
All proceeds will go the Christmas on Campus Campaign organised by KSU which brought several University organisations together to raise money in aid of L-Istrina.
