Accessibility in Gozo for people with various types of disability was the theme of a seminar organised by the Gozo Federation of Persons with Disability at the centre of the Gozo Association for the Deaf. The seminar started with a documentary produced by CVC Productions on the theme and a presentation by architect Edward Xerri on how projects planned in various localities were taking accessibility for people with disability into consideration. Gozo Minister Anton Refalo, Parliamentary Secretary Justyne Caruana, Bishop Mario Grech and Shadow Minister for Gozo Chris Said addressed the seminar and took part in a panel discussion chaired by Maryrose Attard, representing the Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD). Disabled people shared their personal experiences regarding accessibility issues and made suggestions during the discussion.
