The University of Malta’s Programme in the Liberal Arts and Sciences (Plas) offers the opportunity for people to enrich their personal and professional development by studying at their own pace. One may apply for any and as many Plas units as one wishes from the broad range on offer. Each unit usually consists of 14 lectures held once weekly between 6 and 8pm.
In the University’s second semester, which starts in February 2017, 23 Plas units will be offered on subjects such as marketing, human geography, the Maltese Constitution, astronomy, classical myths, dinosaurs and the evolution of life on Earth, the Maltese language, decorative arts, economics, philosophy, criminology, science fiction and Sanskrit culture.
Three Plas Tech units aimed at ICT professionals will also be offered on single page applications, network penetration testing, and spring framework. Tech units are included in the Get Qualified scheme.
Applications for Plas units may be submitted through the website of the Centre for the Liberal Arts and Sciences (CLAS) below. More information on the units and application fees may also be found on the website. The deadline for applications is January 16.
