One of ESI’s Fit solution implementations in the US has won the ‘Application Project of the Year’ award at the Honeywell yearly connect event for Honeywell authorised dealers internationally.

Fit, ESI’s Flexible Integration Solution, is a solution for smart buildings and facilities that enables systems in any building facility or campuses to communicate and share data with each other.

The solution was implemented together with Microbiz, another Honeywell partner in the US. This project was a first of its kind, for all partners, Honeywell included, who have connected over 100,000 buildings worldwide. This was the first time Otis elevators – the world’s largest manufacturer of elevators, were connected to a building management system across an entire campus. The system connected five towers on the campus grounds.

The award was won at Honeywell’s yearly ‘Connect’ event for all Honeywell authorised dealers internationally. The three-day event ended with an award banquet where Fit by ESI was recognised for its application value, and won application project of the year.
