Today’s concert within the Malta International Organ Festival is a solo recital featuring Diego Cannizzaro taking place in Balluta.

The programme includes pieces by Bach, Rinck, Mendelssohn, Bossi and Yon.

He is honorary inspector of historical organs in Sicily, organ teacher at the Conservatory of Caltanissetta and artistic director of the In tempore organi festival which focuses on historical organs in Sicily. Cannizzaro is also a guest teacher in early Italian organ music at the Conservatory of St  Petersburg.
