During the programme, the German MBA participants were also engaged on an extended strategy live case study, involving meetings, analysis and direct interaction with the top management team of Melita Ltd. The students studied a current strategic challenge and presented their strategic review, findings and reasoned recommendations to the board and management.

Other visits were conducted at Methode Electronics, Baxter, Playmobil and Farsons.

The participants included executives at international blue chip companies such as Daimler AG, Continental AG, Airbus Helicopters, Liebherr Group, IVECO Magirus AG, Boehringer Ingelheim GmbH, Voith Hydro, Takata AG, Teva/Ratiopharm, Zwick GmbH and Quin Automotive GmbH and other German SMEs engaged in sectors spanning automotive, aerospace and defence, electronics, manufacturing, precision engineering, pharma, and consulting services.

The programme builds on the ongoing collaboration and long-standing alliance between the University of Malta department and the Department of Business and Economics at Neu-Ulm University of Applied Sciences (HNU), Germany.
