The Ramblers Association has launched its autumn walks programme just at the right time when Malta’s countryside takes a new look after the first rains and the cool sea breezes are more welcoming.

As this is the start of the rambling season all this month’s treks are either easy or moderate; however, participants should still take all necessary precautions by wearing proper walking boots and appropriate clothing.

The walks are planned by the association’s Walks Programme Commission and are led by dedicated walk leaders who deserve our gratitude and appreciation.

In case of very bad weather, walks will be cancelled. If in doubt, call 9949 7080 or 7959 4267.

Non-members who wish to join any of the walks are advised to call these numbers in case there is any change in the programme.

A substantial number of ex-pats recently joined our association and we always welcome new members. If readers are interested they may enrol as members and receive information about all our activities.
