Heritage Malta, in collaboration with the Gozo Ministry, will be opening its Ċittadella museums and sites on Saturday during the Swar u Ħajja event.

This will be done to commemorate the Cittadella inaugural season of events after an extensive programme of restoration works on this fortified city, inaugurated earlier this month.

Museums and sites to open for free are the Gozo Museum of Archaeology, the Old Prison, the Gozo Natural Museum and the newly refurbished Gran Castello Historic House (formerly known as the Folklore Museum).

The Gran Castello Historic House will also be hosting artisans who will showcase their trade, such as cotton weaving, lace making and spinning.

Heritage Malta museums and sites will be open between 7.30pm and midnight, with the last admission being at 11.30pm.
