A new multi-brand concept store has officially opened its doors in Bisazza Street, Sliema, this week showcasing the latest in Italian fashion.

Run by businesswoman Diane Izzo, the store houses the luxury Italian brands Elisabetta Franchi and U Space Style Concept, and will soon roll out the latest collection of the American fashion brand Michael Kors.

The store, spread over 150 square metres on two floors, was officially inaugurated by the Prime Minister’s wife Michelle Muscat.

Ms Izzo said the idea behind the store was to focus on brands that provided the discerning women with outfits that represented quality, excellence and attention to detail.

Both Elisabetta Franchi and U Space Style Concept show off perfectly crafted, ready-to-wear collections based on the made-in-Italy concept.

The Sliema store is the latest project for Ms Izzo, coming soon after her acquisition of the popular American brands Guess and Brooks Brothers. Ms Izzo’s portfolio includes other franchises, such as fashion brands Terranova, Terranova Kids, Calliope, Liu Jo Donna, Liu Jo Uomo, 7 Camicie and Make-Up Store, as well as the well-known coffee houses Caffe Pascucci.

Other ventures in the pipeline for Ms Izzo include the brands Guess Kids and Max & Co.
