AQUILINA. On June 7, at Central Home, Mosta, MARY of Valletta, aged 91, passed away peacefully. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Henry and his wife Miriam, Monica, widow of her son Joe, Doris and her husband Anthony Aquilina, Mary Rose and her husband Pio Scicluna, her grandchildren, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 1.30pm for St Paul Shipwrecked parish church, Valletta, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be appreciated. BELLIZZI. On June 6, at Mater Dei Hospital, ROSE née Rizzo, of Balzan, widow of Carmelo, aged 82, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. She leaves to mourn her loss her children, Jayne wife of David, Paul, husband of Martha, Mary, wife of Nigel, Peter, partner of Colin, and Liz, wife of Raymond, six grandchildren, sisters and brother and their families, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei today at 2pm for Balzan parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2.30pm followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. CREMONA. On June 7, ALEXANDRA k/a Sandra, at Mater Dei Hospital, aged 52, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss, her mother Lillian, her brother Ivan and his wife Anika, her two nephews Gianluca and Francesco, her dear friend Yannis, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow Thursday at 8am for the church of Our Lady of Good Counsel, Paceville, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am followed by inter-ment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord grant her eternal rest.

HILL – CHRISTOPHER, lost the fight with his prolonged illness and closed his eyes forever on Saturday, June 4, at 74 years of age. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Marianne, his son Gilbert and his wife Jessica, his daughter Ursula and her husband Gavin, his grandchildren Emily, Dorothea, Fenton and Coralina, his brothers Roger and Brian and Brian’s wife Paula, their respective families, other relatives and friends. The funeral Mass præsente cadavere will take place on Saturday, June 11 at the chapel of Hilltop Gardens Retirement Village, Naxxar, followed by interment at Siġġiewi Cemetery. The family would appreciate if instead of flowers, donations in his name be sent to Hospice Malta, Balzan. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

SCHEMBRI. On June 7, at Mater Dei Hospital, JOSEPH (Ġużi), former Customs Officer, widower of Lulu, aged 92, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his only son, Fr Martin D. Schembri, O. Carm., prior and parish priest of the church of Our Lady of Mt Carmel at Fleur-de-Lys, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 9am for the Sanctuary Basilica of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Valletta, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 10am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

SCICLUNA. On June 7, ANTHONY at St Vincent de Paul Residence, formerly residing at Paola, widower of Lourdes née  Decelis, aged 95. He leaves to mourn his loss his children, Fr Victor Scicluna, Parish Priest of St Gregory’s church, Sliema, Maria and her husband Frans, Silvio and his wife Agnes, Godwin and his wife Josephine, nephews, nieces and his grandchild, his brother and sister-in-law Sr Angelica, Victor and his wife Frances, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves St Vincent De Paul Residence tomorrow, Thursday at 8am for Christ the King church at Paola where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am followed by interment in the family grave at  Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord grant him eternal rest.

STIVALA. On June 6, at Mater Dei Hospital, VIKKI of Naxxar, residing at Tal-Ibrag, aged 53, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She is loved and remembered by her children Jake and Meagan, her brothers and sisters, Carlo with his brothers and sister, in-laws, nephews and nieces, uncles and aunties, cousins, relatives, friends and last but not least, her beloved pets Ziggi and Marley. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow Thursday at 3.15pm for Our Lady of Victories Parish Church Naxxar, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 3.45pm followed by interment in the family grave at Naxxar Cemetery. No flowers by request but do-nations to Puttinu Cares will be greatly appreciated. Lord grant her eternal rest.
