A group of players from the Exiles women’s squad recently had a training camp in Messina, Sicily.

The squad, under the guidance of coach Gordon Zammit, had practice sessions in the morning and evening besides playing two matches against the Messina U-17s.

The experience was very fruitful for the Exiles girls as they continued to gain considerable experience which should stand them in good stead at the forthcoming national league this summer.

In a statement, Exiles said that, as part of their efforts to promote the women’s game, they are looking to attract more players to their fold as the club want to strengthen their women’s waterpolo set-up.
