Times Talk last night discussed the Kappara junction - the works and the traffic concerns.

The €22.5 million project will address most of the problems in one of Malta’s busiest arterial roads. The completed project is estimated to eliminate 50 per cent of the traffic load from the roundabout. The programme also discussed the fact that road closures because of village feasts or for the placement of cranes may not be allowed in the vicinity when works on the project start in earnest.

Presented by Herman Grech and Mark Micallef, Times Talk is aired on TVM on Tuesday at 10.05pm with a repeat on Wednesday on TVM2 at 1.30pm.
