The Mcast Institute of Information and Communication Technology hosted 16 foreign students from Odisee University and Fakultet Organizacije I Informatike from Croatia who, together with 12 Mcast students, worked on e-Payments tasks. The tasks involved designing and implementing a system to cater for bank transactions following SEPA protocol. This workshop provided Mcast students with the opportunity to work in an international team using industry standard Oracle PL/SQL to solve a real-life task. Seen here are Frankie Inguanez, Mcast’s IICT vocational coordinator, Joseph Mallia, principal officer, Project and Applications, Central Bank of Malta, Jean Paul Tabone, Mcast’s IICT foundation college DDPM and Emerson Amaira, senior system analyst, Central Bank.
