TV broadcasts of parliamentary sittings will be available to everyone free of charge in the coming days, Speaker Anglu Farrugia said this evening.

It follows agreement between the House, PBS and the Malta Broadcasting authority.

Dr Farrugia tabled a series of reports and a sheaf of correspondence with PBS and the MBA.

He said free-to-air broadcasts were meant to start today but were held up by technical hitches.
