Kemen: Newcastle United midfielder Olivier Kemen has joined Olympique Lyonnais on a four-year contract. Lyon said they had agreed to pay an initial fee of €750,000 for the 19-year-old Frenchman. Newcastle are entitled to a percentage of any fee if the French club sell Kemen on in the future.

Mori: Everton have signed defender Ramiro Mori from Argentina’s River Plate on a five-year deal for a fee of £9.5 million. The 24-year-old, who was part of the team that won the Copa Libertadores earlier this year, becomes only the second Argentine to represent the Toffees after Denis Stracqualursi.

Promoted: Ascoli and Entella have been promoted to Serie B to fill the gaps left by Catania and Teramo. Both latter clubs were involved in a match-fixing scandal this summer with Catania demoted to Lega Pro and deducted 12 points, and Teramo denied promotion and demoted to Serie D. That left two spaces in Serie B and earlier this week it was confirmed by the soccer federation that Ascoli will replace Teramo and Entella will substitute for Catania.

Dembele: Moussa Dembele has withdrawn from Belgium’s squad for their European Championship qualifiers against Bosnia and Cyprus and has been replaced by Steven Defour, the Belgian football association said. Dembele injured his ankle in Tottenham’s match against Everton on Saturday and underwent a scan in Brussels on Monday.

Piazon: Reading have signed Chelsea forward Lucas Piazon on a season-long loan. The 21-year-old Brazilian, who has played three times for the Blues, will spend the entire 2015-16 campaign at the Royals, who fought off stern competition for his signature. Piazon has spent time on loan at Malaga, Vitesse Arnhem and Frankfurt following his arrival at Stamford Bridge in 2012.

Layun: FC Porto have signed defender Miguel Layun from Watford on a season-long loan, with an option to buy him for six million euros t the end of the current campaign, the Portuguese club said. The 27-year-old joined the Hornets in January and scored his first goal for the club in their opening day 2-2 draw against Everton in the Premier League this season.
