Labour MP Etienne Grech has called for an assessment to consider the impact of making scenic Fomm ir-Rih bay accessible to the public.
The bay, below Bahrija, is currently difficult to reach, the only access being a steep, narrow path. The bay has crystal clear water and panoramic cliffs on one side.
Dr Grech said in a Facebook post that the time had come to draw up a strategic assessment on the impact of making the bay accessible to the public with the least disturbance to its beautiful environment.
He said he had already spoken to Tourism Minister Edward Zammit Lewis about the matter.
