ATTARD. On June 26, at his residence, PHILIP, of Żebbuġ, aged 52, passed peacefully away. He leaves to mourn his loss his sisters Mariella, Catherine, Simone and Isabelle and their respective husbands, nephews, nieces relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 7.15am for St Philip’s parish church, Żebbuġ, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8am followed by interment at St Andrea cemetery, Żebbuġ. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

MALLIA. On July 4, JEAN, of Msida, aged 88, passed peacefully away at home. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Lucienne, Lorraine, Miriam and Noel, their husbands, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, her sister and brother, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 7.30am for Msida parish church where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8am, followed by interment at Santa Marija Addolorata cemetery. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

MICALLEF. On June 27, MARIA, aged 85, formerly of Floriana, died in Toronto, Canada. Missed by Emma, Sister of the Franciscan Missionaries of Mary, Josephine and Eddie O’Dea and family, Amy and Paul Desmet and family and by her cousins and friends. God, grant her eternal rest.

TITLEY. On July 3, at Mater Dei Hospital, VICTOR, of Senglea, residing in Santa Luċija, aged 67, passed away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss, his beloved wife Marthese, his daughter Cheryl and her husband Dennis Riolo, his son Malcolm and his wife Nadine, his granddaughters Nicole and Andrea, his sisters, Carmen, widow of John Busuttil, Lourdes and her husband Philip Attard, Joyce, widow of Joseph Baldacchino, his brothers, Alfred and his wife Wynfred and Oliver and his wife Marika, his nephews, nieces, in-laws, other relatives and friends. Mass præsente cadavere will be said tomorrow at 8.30am at Santa Luċija parish church, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

SCICLUNA. On July 2, at Santo Spirito in Saxia Hospital, Rome, EMANUEL, of Qormi and residing in Lija, aged 85, passed peace­f­ully away, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his dear wife Maria Carmela née Falzon, his children, Archbishop Charles Scicluna, Monica and her husband Ray Lanzon, Josette and her husband Emanuel Grixti and Jesmond and his wife Wendy, his grandchildren Stephen, Francesca, Christine, Maurizio, Bernadette and Alexander, his many siblings, in-laws and their families, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Wednesday at 3pm for St Sebastian parish church, Qormi, where Mass praesente cadavere will be celebrated at 3.30pm, followed by private interment in the family grave at Lija cemetery.

SPITERI. On July 4, at his residence in Guardamangia, CARMELO, aged 80, went to meet the Risen Lord. Never forgotten by his wife Adelina, his children Helen and her husband Joe, Josette, James and his wife Helen, Mary and her husband Jesmond, Brigitte and her husband Andrew, his grandchildren Nicholas and his wife Claire, Keith, Shawn, Steve, Duane, Mark, Kevin, Malcolm, Mandy, Luke and James and their respective fiancés, his brothers and sister, in-laws, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 8am for the Transfiguration parish church, Lija, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.30am followed by interment at Lija cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to the Hospice Movement will be appreciated.
