By these presents, Ivan Mario Mxebba, "the Protestant", calls upon formally Premier Inter Primi Joseph Muscat, hereinafter "the Premier Protested" and states for posterity

That the Premier Protested was by the majority of denizens of this fair land, constituted under the Constitution of the Republic of Malta and its Dependencies, a Republic founded on Work, Justice and Liberty, elected to hold sway and govern over the said denizens, who in their turn give undying love and fealty to the said Premier Protested

That the said Premier Protested had in the exercise of his Constitutional duty appointed to High Office of the Land various and assorted individuals who in the untrammelled opinion of the said Premier Protested only possessed the qualities and attributes fitting the appointees to become High Panjandra of the Republic

That the said Premier Protested had in the exercise of his Constitutional duty as aforesaid been oblivious to any consideration other than the capacity of the appointee or appointees to give undying fealty and loyalty to the said Premier Protested and in the process of said consideration had not given thought to the manner in which the appointment or appointments would be perceived by humble exponents of the political faith that is said to be espoused by the said Premier Protested

That the considerations stated in the paragraph here preceding had been adopted also in the appointment of lesser beings to more lowly offices of state, even down to the profoundly base position of Seeker After Garages & Promoter of Rock'n'Roll for the Diversion of the Masses

That the manner of governance adopted by the Premier Protested is evidently misconceived and has resulted in the Republic being inflicted with holders of paid office who have no qualification other than their fealty and loyalty and usefulness to the said Premier Protested, such that many of such holders are unequivocally little more than a waste of space not to mention skin and who, in many and varied instances, been an embarrassment to the said Premier Protested, even to the extent of having to be removed from High Office

That the Premier Protested is expected to continue in this vein notwithstanding the clear and manifest exasperation and annoyance of the puny subjects over whom he holds sway

Now therefore the Premier Protested is placed on formal notice by the Protestant that in the event that he does not listen and pay heed to the cries from the heart of his truly loyal subjects and persists in appointing only his good and true friends, soldiers of rusty tin-foil, to High Office, he shall not remain the Apple of the Eye of the truly loyal subjects who shall be constrained to like it or lump it.
