Christmas has arrived at the University of Malta with Christmas lights and decorations adorning many of the buildings around campus and festive music being played at the quadrangle. There are so many activities prepared for students, lecturers and visitors of the university. Check out the calendar of events below:

1st -19th December 2014

• Students through their organizations will be encouraged to donate a minimum of ONE EURO in aid of Dar tal-Providenza and L-Istrina.
• Selling of Christmas Ponsjettas from Chaplaincy Foyer in aid Dar tal-Providenza and l-Istrina.
• Collection in Faculties/Departments in aid of Dar tal-Providenza and l-Istrina.
• Selling of Mince Pies, Honey Biscuits and Fig Rolls in aid of l-Istrina and Dar tal-Providenza.

3rd-18th December 2014

• Christmas Raffle in aid of L-Istrina and Dar tal-Providenza. Tickets can be bought from the Chaplaincy.

9th-19th December 2014

• Identified students will be around the outside areas of campus collecting money for Dar tal-Providenza and l-Istrina.

Tuesday 9th December 2014

• 12.30pm Inauguration of Christmas on Campus 2014 Peace – Our Daily Battle organised by the Chaplaincy team and the International Office with the participation of the University Vocal Ensemble and brass band on quadrangle.

Wednesday 10th December 2014

• Youths for the Environment Christmas Glass Bottle Installation on quadrangle – Upcycling initiative in aid of L-Istrina and Dar tal-Providenza.
• Earth Systems Association – Christmas Food stall on quadrangle in aid of Dar tal-Providenza and L-Istrina
• 12 noon Gozo University Group – Photo for Charity in aid of Dar tal-Providenza and L-Istrina
• 12.30pm Christmas Concert by Junior College Orchestra on quadrangle
• 12.30pm Advent Reflection during mass in chapel by Andrea Fazio –How I found/find peace through my consecration as a lay person.
