We are on our way to Tokyo!

The cyclist that had to drop out because of bike problems has borrowed the bike belonging to the injured one so 21 should be crossing the finish line some time this afternoon, although only 20 are still in the challenge.

After the nightmares of the first few days, the route moved into the countryside and although this meant two days with steep climbs of over 15km, the cyclists did not have to contend with traffic and traffic lights.

In spite of the gradient - imagine 15km of San Blas - all of 20 of them managed to complete the route.

Today they will cycle 180km to the heart of Tokyo, having cycled over 2000km.
