As from this September, Malta Business School will be launching a set of new professional short courses. These are designed for busy individuals who want to get an overview of different business areas without committing to studying a full-time programme.

Such courses are aimed to allow non-specialists to broaden their understanding of key business skills. The focus this autumn will be on seven main areas: assertiveness, customer care, effective negotiation skills, finance for the non-financial manager, managing time, marketing in practice and the art of selling.

The business school is promoting a new learning dimension where individuals are brought together from a range of different business backgrounds, thus creating a diverse and dynamic environment. The teaching is done through applied knowledge on case studies, by open discussions, role-play and solution-finding.

The tutors have excellent experience within their field of expertise, as well as an academic background to complement their knowledge.

After completing the course, the participants would have grasped both the concepts as well as the practical application of the theory.

“Since our programmes are specifically targeted at people who have work experience, our core concept of delivering value through applicability fits well with our vision and strategy,” says Lorenzo Mule` Stagno, the head of Malta Business School.

The school is a recognised higher educational institution and the training division of Allied Consultants Limited. The firm has been offering high-quality training for a number of years in Malta and abroad, with a proven track record for achieving results.

Besides the professional short courses, Malta Business School is also launching three full-time management diplomas this October in the areas of business, travel and tourism, and health and social care. These three programmes are recognised locally and accredited as a Level 5 qualification.
