An exhibition of sacred art entitled Via Pulchritudinis: The Way of Beauty, curated by Salesian Charles Cini, is open at Dar Karmni Grima, Għarb.

Besides give space to the artists to express beauty through art, the exhibition aims to raise funds for Ta’ Pinu Sanctuary, which over the next few months will undertake a project aimed to enhance its appeal as an oasis of peace and spiritual renewal.

The works of art are by Martin Attard, Noel Attard, John Martin Borg, Austin Camilleri, Paul Camillleri Cauchi, Anthony Caruana, Justin Falzon, Manuel Farrugia, Loreta Grech, John Grima, Vincent Mangani, Daniel Scerri, Frank Schembri, George Scicluna and Paul Stellini.

Italian artists Amadeo Brogli and Sergio Favotto are also exhibiting their work.

A series of 99 etchings by Justin Falzon of the painting of the shrine of the Blessed Virgin of Ta’ Pinu, printed on white Magnani paper, was also launched.

The exhibition is open today from 9am to 8pm and will remain open until July 26.
