François Thibault, creator of French vodka Grey Goose, was in Malta to celebrate the drink’s two-year presence on the local market. Local distributors P. Cutajar & Co. Ltd, in collaboration with Hugo Boss in Malta, held a cocktail party at Dolce Vita Restaurant, St Julian’s.
Thibault was also invited to give a master class session on the origin of the vodka at Portomaso.
Fifty bartenders, mainly from the Malta Bartenders Guild, attended the presentation, which focused on the fine nature behind crafting Grey Goose.
The presentation, delivered in French but translated by global brand ambassador of Grey Goose, Claudio Bedini, was followed by a question and answer session and the tasting of Grey Goose cocktails.
“Luxury is not found in number but in prestige, which originates from fine quality ingredients used with care, as we have done with Grey Goose. The outstanding performance of Grey Goose in Malta’s small market validates this. We now look forward to seeing what inventive Grey Goose-based cocktails Maltese bartenders will create,” said Thibault.
