Pietà Hotspurs 6

Pietà Hotspurs honoured their status as Division One champions when they hammered Birżebbuġa St Peter’s with striker Raphael Kooh Sohna scoring five goals.

The Hotspurs came out strongly and inside the first minute they were already ahead.

Kooh Sohna retrieved possession and sped into the box, turned past Cassar to shoot home.

The Cameroon striker struck again two minutes later when he drilled the ball in from a Cassar delivery.

Kooh-Sohna completed his hat-trick on 18 minutes when he was brought down in the area by Martin Hrubsa and he made no mistake from the spot.

Birżebbuġa pulled a goal back on 22 minutes when Ronnie Celeste hit into the net following a Paolo Cataldi free-kick.

Pietà restored their three-goal lead five minutes later when Kooh-Sohna released Matthew Borg who beat Cassar from close range.

On 39 minutes, Pietà made it 5-1 and it was again Kooh Sohna who blasted the ball home after he was released by Ricardo Costa.

Birżebbuġa threatened on 57 minutes when Claudio Calleja’s effort was kept out by Montfort.

Kooh Sohna grabbed his fifth on 65 minutes when he drove the ball home after a good pass by Terence Vella.

Birżebbuġa netted their second late on when substitute Alan Tabone concluded well after good work from Giacomo Favero.
