Hundreds of people turned up at Agenda Bookshop in Tigné Point, Sliema, this morning to have their copy of Eddie Fenech Adami's autobiography signed by the former President and Prime Minister.

The queue snaked around an entire floor of the shopping centre, with some people arriving more than an hour before the signing session was due to begin.

Such was the demand, that Dr Fenech Adami did not manage to leave the building till 2pm. The session was supposed to end at noon.

Proceeds from the book, Eddie: My Journey, published by Allied Publications, will be going to Dar Tal-Providenza.
