Middlesea’s main objective is to ensure maximum peace of mind and minimum hassle for the insured in his own home. That is why its home insurance policy includes home assistance and emergency services 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, to help in a household emergency.

Should there be complete failure of electrical supply; breakage of glazing of external windows or doors, which render the home insecure; sudden or unexpected water leakages; or loss or theft of house keys or damage to locks, a solution is only a phone call away.

Middlesea Assist has a number of professionals at its disposal, be it electricians, plumbers, locksmiths and other service providers, and will make arrangements for one of these to come over and deal with the emergency immediately.

This service is exclusive to Middlesea Home Insurance Policy holders and is only one part of the comprehensive coverage available under the policy. Under the Middlesea Home policy, both the buildings and the contents of the home can be insured. Apart from the usual cover, like fire, storm, floods, theft, vandalism among others, the policy covers buildings and contents on an Accidental Damage basis.

Items that are usually carried around can be covered outside the home. The policy also includes other standard extensions, including temporary alternative accommodation if a house is not fit to live in following a loss, mechanical or electrical breakdown to air conditioning and energy-saving equipment, loss or damage to Christmas, wedding and graduation gifts, loss or damage to locks and keys, cover for freezer food, personal money, including credit and debit cards, pedal cycles/sports equipment, legal expenses and liability to others.
