Tomorrow evening, the domestic horse racing season will resume with a packed programme consisting of 10 harness races over a distance of 2,140 metres and a flat race over 1,250m.

Starting at 6.30pm, the first race is for horses from the Copper Class while the principal event, that for Premier Class horses, is scheduled for 9.40pm and has a 16-strong entry.

The flat race, the fifth on the card, will be contested by four thoroughbreds, two of which will be making their debut at Marsa.

A total of six horses will make their bow in the trotting races tomorrow.

Also this weekend, the owners and drivers affiliated with the Malta Racing Club will vote to elect their representatives on the MRC council.
