The team taking part in the Actavis LifeCycle Challenge 2013 are on their way to Klaipeda on the Baltic Sea - having already visited three countries since they set off on Monday.

Yesterday and today were relatively easy days - partly in anticipation of delays at the border crossings between Lithuania and Russia and Russia and Lithuania.

They only cycled 154km yesterday and face 148km today, a mere "half-day" for these well-trained athletes.

They were meant to attend the unveiling of a statue in Kaliningrad, which never materialised, allowing the team to enjoy some of the spectacular scenery and the warm welcome they receive from Lithuanians wherever they stop.
