Malta will host the Group D matches of the European Waterpolo Championship 2013 Round Two, to be played between July 11 and 14.

Besides Malta, the group also comprises Georgia, Israel, Ukraine and Belarus, with Georgia starting with the best coefficient based on the points gained in the opening round’s qualification tournament played earlier this year.

Then Malta, under the guidance of national coach Karl Izzo, had placed second on 10 points behind Russia (15 points) and ahead of Portugal, Israel, Denmark and Bulgaria.

The matches were played in Odense, Denmark, in the first week of April.

The groups and venues below also include the points won by each nation in the preceding round. All the matches of Round Two are scheduled to be played from July 11-14.

GROUP D: Georgia (13); Malta (10); Israel (7); Ukraine (7); Belarus (3).

GROUP E (to be played in Slovakia France 15; Switzerland (3) Slovakia (11); Moldova (4); Great Britain (10); Denmark (3).

GROUP F (to be played in Poland Russia (15); Bulgaria (0); Slovenia (12); Poland (6); Portugal (9); Czech Republic (3).
