Tomorrow, two new video interviews of the following youths talking about their careers will be uploaded on The Zone at www.timesofmalta.com/thezone.

When Alexia Vassallo, an economist by profession, started crafting personalised greeting cards just as an evening hobby, little did she imagine what it could lead to. She is now considering building up a little business venture by setting up a craft shop where she can offer classes in creativity and crafts to children.

Watch her interview on The Zone next week to get a glimpse of some of her creations.

A petite and charming graduate in theatre studies, one wouldn’t expect Marilù Vella to run her own full-time business in making pastizzi (savoury pastries). From preparing the pastry, to baking, to delivery and creating innovative fillings for the traditional Maltese delicacy, Vella does it all by herself. It is her full-time business now and she is planning to go much further with it.

Watch the interview with this young entrepreneur on The Zone next week and be inspired.

Get heard and share your own experiences with others. Tell them about your career choice, what it takes to get where you are, the ups and downs you experience, and offer advice to those who are still uncertain about what they want to do in the future.

To be interviewed for The Zone, send an e-mail with a brief description of your career, talent, or a social issue you would like to discuss.

Alternatively, you can send your own video. Send a low-resolution version of your file to thezone@timesofmalta.com.
