Floriana today presented Iain Brunskill as their new coach, taking over from Stephen Azzopardi.

Brunskill was until recently the first team coach of English Championship club Blackburn Rovers. He was previously on Liverpool's coaching staff.

Floriana president Steve Vaughan welcomed the new coach on behalf of Floriana and said the club's immediate objective is to be at the top of the relegation pool.

Brunskill said this was a new challenge for him and he looked forward to re-establishing the link between the senior team and the youth academy.

After bringing in Brazilian striker Rodrigo Branco and English midfielder Harry Agombar from Macclesfield Town, Floriana yesterday confirmed that Udo Nwoko, formerly of Hibernians, has joined them until the end of the season.

Floriana are also interested in signing Hibs winger Steve Pisani on loan until the end of season.
