A total of 227 applications were received by the Church for inclusion in the first year boys’ secondary schools, the Church said this morning.

The applications received were as follows:

The above leaves 202 vacant places.

The Church said that it had more girls already in its primary schools than vacancies in first year girls' secondaries, so no applications could be received.
