HSBC Bank Malta has been named Bank of the Year in Malta for the second consecutive year by the Financial Times’ The Banker magazine, in recognition of its achievements.

The award reflects a strong financial performance, notable growth rates, and continued investment in the business and the community.

“HSBC Bank Malta delivered a strong performance across all businesses in spite of increasingly difficult market conditions,” HSBC Bank Malta chief executive Mark Watkinson said. “The Banker award is a great tribute to the HSBC team in Malta and our customers’ continued support.”

As a Banker award winner, HSBC Bank Malta received the prestigious Bracken Award.

Bracken epitomises the global spirit, vision and integrity of The Banker and FT Group. Brendan Bracken was the founding editor of The Banker in 1926 and later chairman of the modern-day Financial Times from 1945 to 1958.
